Speaking Of Theme Tunes…

Published by at 8:38 am under Blog

Whatever happened the Charlotte Church Show? I really enjoyed it. She was surprisingly funny (for an ex-classical singer and failed pop princess) and I loved the opening to each of her shows, when she sang her theme tune each week in a different style, with differing topical verses.

Here’s a few:

    The Charlotte Church show, Darren? Charlotte Church? And you were worried that Sweet Transvestite was “gay”? 😛

    I remember seeing Charlotte Church in person at the Late Late Show in 2000. It was the first time I remember actually being stopped in my tracks (literally, on the way to my seat) by how beautiful a girl could be.

    I’m with Maxi on this one. And in answer, pregnancy happened. It wasn’t me, might have been Maxi. More likely the hubby though.

    She was on C4 up until recently on a Thursday night. Don’t know if she still is though. 🙂 The opening songs were always hilarious and she had a fairly decent show most of the time. Well I enjoyed it anyway. 🙂

    The only way it would have been me is if she made use of one of the little “packages” I used to send her.

    Yeah, the last series just ended there a few weeks ago. Presumbably it will be back next year after she’s popped out this sprog.

    I like Charl, she’s quite honest. Lady to ladette was hilarious.

    I really like Charlotte Church too. Didn’t see much of her programmes to be honest, but she always seems to be really down to earth and able to take the mickey out of herself.

    How orange is her hubby though?!

    @Darragh I think I love her because there’s something so durty beneath her pure exterior.

    @Maxi No, just no. Go away now.

    @ThriftC Don’t encourage him!!!

    @Stella @Voodoo What? I missed it all?

    @Annie Yeah, I like that she doesn’t take things too seriously. I loved her when she first presented Have I Got News For You and she was always destined to get her own show.

    @Ray Well, that may be true, but she’s still a sexy bitch, and thus can be forgiven.
